Week 24 In Israel: Herzliya!

For me, the main highlight this week was exploring the city of Herzliya for my very first time! I stepped into a different energy of Israel that I have never experienced before. The Herzliya Marina was beautiful and peaceful. I made sure to savor every moment and soak in the blue skies, perfect weather, palm trees, gorgeous boats lined up along the water, people walking around. Everyone was extremely friendly and I saw so many beautiful families. The area I was in had this nice, smooth vibe to it. 

We also went to an awesome trading card show at the Herzliya Marina and got to see the Israeli card market in action!!! Sports cards... Pokémon... One Piece...  Collectors everywhere making deals... trading... showing off rare cards & cool items. It was such a cool experience seeing another side of Israel. My roommate Nathanial is a Professional Sports/Trading Card Dealer and it was the coolest experience to see him in action! Calling bluffs on guys trying to overcharge and locking in to find that perfect deal! Watch the video to see him in action! Do you think he made a deal? And then for lunch..... I am telling you we got blesssssssssssed up!!!!!! The guy working the counter... completely covered our Laffa's with the juiciest meat. And when I am saying covered... think of someone taking a huge shovel and trying to dig for as much sand as possible. Then taking that sand and pouring it straight onto our Laffa's. That was what he did with our meat! Just pure generosity out of nowhere! What a legend! After that, we had a nice dessert by the boats. One of those simple, perfect moments where you just sit there and think, “Yeah… BH! Life is great, I am blessed, this is a good life!”
